Azienda agricola Casale Daviddi

The wine-farm The "Casale" agricultural company was born under the control of the Daviddi family. For generations, they have been grape-griwing experts and as witness, they still conserve a press of the early 1800s.
Aldimaro Daviddi, who has the precious collaboration of his wife and daughters, has managed to expand the Casale business and also thanks to the production of optimum noble wines of Montepulciano that have helped him to move onto the internetional market.
The "Casale" company, that today produces approximately 65,000 bottles a year, is situated in the Montepulciano DOCG zone and develops over 15 hectars of vineyards.
The wine variities of Sangiovese and with small quantities of Canaiolo and Mammolo are cultivated on the clay and stony ground - in Gracciano, Valiano, Abbadia and Acquaviva - adaptable to obtain a pleasing and tful product.

The products The wine-farm produces: "Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG", that qualifies as a RISERVA if aged for three years, "Rosso di Montepulciano DOC" and "Grappa d'uva Nobile".
The average production of VINO NOBILE D.O.C.G. is 250 hl while the cellar has a total capacity of about 1000 hl.
