Azienda Agricola Il Sosso
The estate extends in total for approximately 45 hectares. Thirty hectares are cultivated as vineyards, from which the following wines are produced:
Chianti D.O.C.G. Il SossoRosso di Toscana I.G.T. Poggio FalconeChardonnay di Toscana I.G.T. Il Sosso
The vine varieties cultivated are: Canaiolo, Colorino, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Chardonnay.
The morphology of the land on which the wines are growing has a medium textured soil with layers of loam, volcanic tuff, and clay, and the position halfway up a hill, together with optimal microclimatic conditions, is ideal for ripening grapes.
