Terrazza dei Filosofi

Description "Terrazza dei Filosofi" is a small depandance, situated by the walls of Montepulciano; it looks out on a splendid landscape whose main beauty is represented by the temple of St. Biagio, an artwork of Antonio da Sangallo. From the “Terrazza dei Filosofi” you can admire the overlooking valley, cultivated with vineyards that produce the well known "Vino Nobile" of Montepulciano. Behind, after a walk of about 300 meters, the top of the historical center with the Piazza Grande (Big Square), which is also a theater, in the summer, for the artistic shows of the "Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte" and the folkloristic show of the "Bruscello."

Hospitality "Terrazza dei Filosofi" is a depandance for two people, available for the guests all year; it is situated in the green garden of the main house (construction repeated in the ancient pieve of S.Andrea of which we find news from the year 714) but completely independent from that."Terrazza dei Filosofi" has autonomous heating and air conditioned, complete furnishing with small old furniture, terrace solarium, tables and chairs to eat on open air.Calm, silence and absolute privacy are guaranted.
